Kemal (15, Türkiye): I go to a vocational and technical upper secondary school in Bursa. I want to be a chef, so I spend three days a week in our food technology room. On Fridays, we cook lunch for the teachers in the staffroom! I'm also in the volleyball team. On 29 October, Republic Day, my class cooks traditional dishes for the school celebration. Ana (16, Brazil): I attend a private school in São Paulo. I have lessons in the morning and I stay at school for extracurricular activities in the afternoon. My favourite is the robotics club.    Good Enough Until last year, I was a perfectionist. Every piece of homework had to be perfect, so I often stayed up until 2 a.m. and wrote the same paragraph again and again. Before exams, my hands shook and I couldn't eat breakfast. I thought anxiety was a normal part of being a good student. Then our school counsellor started a weekly workshop called "Good Enough". At first, my friends and I laughed at the name. But she showed us how to plan the whole week on one page. She also taught us to stop working on a task when it is "good enough", not "perfect", and to sleep at least eight hours before an exam. Now I still feel a little nervous before exams, but I sleep well and I usually finish my homework before dinner. Last term my marks didn't go down. In fact, they went up. My little brother is starting upper secondary school next year, and I've already printed a one-page plan for him.

   Model paragraph A Week at Blue Bay Marine School I study at Blue Bay Marine School, a small upper secondary school next to the sea. From Monday to Thursday, we have regular lessons like maths, biology and English, and we often do laboratory work with sea water. On Fridays, we usually go out on the school boat and collect data. After school, I'm in the photography club, and I sometimes take pictures of fish for our school website. This week is different. We aren't going out on the boat because the weather is stormy, so we are preparing a presentation for Republic Day instead. I sometimes feel anxious before presentations, but my friends always support me.

   Read the model paragraph. Then write your own paragraph (80-110 words) about a typical week at a different type of school. It can be your school or a dream school (for example a boarding school, a forest school or a sports school). Follow the model and include:
